Block Jointing Mortar is a specialized, factory-prepared polymerized mortar designed for laying and jointing AAC lightweight blocks with precision, strength, and efficiency. Our AAC Block Jointing Mortar delivers superior bonding and helps create durable, water-resistant masonry, making it an excellent choice for modern construction.

AAC Block Jointing Mortar is a dry-mix, thin-bed mortar formulated specifically for Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) and other lightweight blocks. Unlike conventional cement-sand mortars, this mortar is ready to use — you just add water on-site. Block Jointing Mortar ensures very thin joint thickness (typically 2–3 mm) and strong, consistent bonding, reducing material usage, improving strength, and minimizing joint seepage.
Once applied, our Block Jointing Mortar forms a strong adhesive layer that keeps AAC blocks firmly in position, ensuring long-term stability and crack-free walls. The advanced polymer-modified formula enhances flexibility, reduces shrinkage, and improves overall wall performance. Because AAC Block Jointing Mortar is designed for thin-bed application, it significantly lowers Block Jointing Mortar Consumption, giving builders an economical and high-efficiency solution compared to traditional cement-sand mixes.
This ready-mix product also ensures a clean construction environment as it minimizes on-site mixing errors, eliminates dust formation, and provides superior finish quality. The controlled composition ensures consistent performance across all batches, making it a reliable product for large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
When considering the AAC Block Jointing Mortar Price, it is important to note its long-term cost benefits. The reduced material requirement, lower labour usage, and faster application speed make the Block Jointing Mortar Price far more economical than conventional mortar methods. Builders and contractors save significantly due to consistent coverage, predictable consumption rates, and reduced wastage.
Additionally, the optimized joint thickness (2–3 mm) enhances the thermal insulation properties of AAC block walls. This results in improved energy efficiency and overall comfort within the structure. The mortar’s water-resistant properties also help prevent moisture ingress through block joints, enhancing the lifespan of both internal and external walls.
Our AAC Block Jointing Mortar is widely trusted for its superior bonding strength, ease of application, and consistent performance. Whether you are constructing partitions, load-bearing walls, or high-rise façade structures, this mortar ensures high durability, uniform alignment, and excellent finish. It is suitable for all AAC blocks, lightweight concrete blocks, and similar masonry units.
For builders looking to reduce construction time, improve strength, and maintain a cleaner work environment, our Block Jointing Mortar offers the perfect balance of performance and affordability. With excellent coverage, predictable Block Jointing Mortar Consumption, competitive pricing, and industry-leading quality, this product stands out as the best choice for AAC block masonry.
Pre-Wetting: Ensure the Lightweight Blocks are well Saturated/Wet with Water before Starting the Block Laying Work.
Cleaning: Remove Loose Particles, Dust, and any Foreign Materials that may affect the Bonding of SILICO Fix Mortar with the Block.
Structural Integrity: The Surface should be Structurally Sound to ensure Strong Adhesion.
Contaminant Removal: Eliminate Efflorescence and other Contaminants that could Impair Bonding.
Surface Repairs: Fill Cracks, Holes, or Voids before Applying the Mortar for a Smooth and even Surface.
Clean the surface of the block or brick before application so that the surface is free from dust, and loose particles which may affect the adhesion of silico fix. The block or bricks must be saturated well with water before application of silicox block jointing mortar. Take 8 liters to 9 liters of potable water depending upon the thickness of the joints to be built up for one full bag of 40kg silico fix powder. Pour the minimum required quantity of water into a mixing tray of a suitable size. Add half the taken quantity of silico fix in the first instant and immediately start mixing. Add the remaining quantity of silico fix quickly, but gradually and again start mixing thoroughly until a smooth, creamy, lump-free homogeneous and cohesive consistency mixture of silico fix is achieved. For proper activation of additives/polymers in silico fix, allow the mixture to stand/rest without disturbing for 2 minutes. Now the silico fix mixture is ready for use/application. Do not add extra water to the mixture than prescribed above, as the addition of extra water will lead to loss of strength and create microscopic and /or visible pores.
Using a proper notched trowel, apply a thin and uniform layer of Silico Fix Mortar in thickness of 2 mm to 3 mm in horizontal and vertical joints of the block and then place the block above it. Clean the excess ush material to clean the joint areas and reuse the same immediately. Continue laying the next block with the same procedure to complete the masonry wall. Silico Fix should be applied within 60 minutes to 90 minutes of its preparation.
